Screening & Gathering: "The Last Ecstatic Days"

🍂 Join us for this very special evening honoring the final stage of the life cycle… 🍂

▪️Wednesday, Oct 2, 7:30-9:30pm

▪️Film screening followed by discussion with the director, and for those who wish to stay, an opportunity to release and reconnect through dance 🪐

The documentary film “The Last Ecstatic Days” tells the story of Ethan Sisser, a young man with Stage IV brain cancer; Aditi Sethi, the hospice doctor who gives up everything to honor his dying wish; and the deathcare community that forms at Ethan’s bedside. The film recently premiered at the Santa Fe International Film Festival to sold-out audiences and rave reviews.

Join us for a special evening of holding space for death and loss alongside life and joy, and reimagining what a culture of care and connection around the end of life can look like. Come for the screening followed by a discussion led by Mary Carpenter @thirdeyeview and director Scott Kirschenbaum, and to end the night, all are welcome to stay for a chance to dance our feelings out (/in/through/beyond) 🌊🍂💃🏽

We’re so honored to cohost this evening with @thirdeyeview in connection with @thelastecstaticdays and @communitydeathcarenetwork

Get tickets HERE… $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
